P&S fucking rock! I got into them via JoCo. My favorite song by them is Opening Band, although I'm also a fond of their Rejected Commercials, the Miranda Lullaby, and the one with the kid who's dad leaves him in the car while he goes into the stripper bar. Oh, and the pirate/seamen song is hard to beat, too. :-)

yay! you know them, too?! when i mention them, almost everyone looks at me blankly. you, on the other hand, win at life.

i got into them the same way! i saw JoCo in concert last december, and Paul and Storm opened. they were completely hilarious. my favourite is definitely the Pirate/Seamen song...i have to love a song where they prompt the crowd for a "dejected arrrrrrr."

When I saw them in concert, in the end, somehow we ended up crossing over "All we want to do is eat your brains" with the Pirate/Seamen song and we ended up with Zombie ARRRs. It was awesome.

hahaha...thanks! :D now i just need more of them...i finally sprung for the paid account with icon add-ons last week, so instead of having room for fifteen icons i now have room for...a lot more than fifteen icons.

Do you use SecondLife? You totally should if you don't. I've found that hanging with Rob there is a lot like actually seeing him offline... it might help with the missing him.

yes! i use several IMs...i'm on AIM as notmchcall, yahoo as rogueclown, and google-talk as superherogirl. how about you?

and, i'm not on second life. i tried it, but this computer's graphics resources are pants, and therefore second life runs so slowly that it's not pleasant. i plan on giving it another shot, though, when i get a new computer...which should be soon after i start my new job.

BTW, have I mentioned the terrible irony I saw in you and Rob falling in love and being all lovey-kissy face while you were wearing a shirt that said "feelings are dumb, kissing is awesome"? :-D

Oh and I only use Gchat because I got fucking sick of everyone just IMing me out of the blue and demanding I talk with them w/o even asking if now is a good time. So I put up away messages and because I have them up for multiple days in a row, people think I don't still mean them and they ignore them.

I really wish there was etiquette that made people do a "knock" before starting in on their IM.

i sent you a google talk invitation...i think that's how you start google-talking with someone who's not on your google talk list yet, although i'm never quite sure.

i agree about the talk etiquette thing...i am lucky enough that basically everyone on my buddy list understands the "away means away" convention, but over the years i've had some who haven't, and it's entirely annoying.

hahahaha...no, you have not mentioned that irony, but that irony was not lost on me. even better irony? that was totally the shirt i was wearing when we used the L-word for the first time.
