i've been spending way too much time today looking at the xkcd archives...my friend tipped me off to it today. [yes, i know, i'm far behind the webcomic curve. but, seriously, most webcomics not written by dan really, really suck.]

Speaking of which, I just got my car insurance renewed. (Good)

My original quote was nice. (Also good)

Then the agent enetered my car's VIN. The rate went up $15 a month. (G'huh?)

I find that hysterical since I have never had a moving violation or accident with this car. Somewhere, though, a computer went, "Oh shit, not that damn car again..." and boom up goes my rate.
