barrister's ball is february 24th.

i know i'm going. the only question is--do i ask someone out, or do i go stag?

yeah, it's weird. i think asking someone out to a dance implies that i at least want something serious, because of all the planning and getting dressed up and buying an expensive ticket. i don't want to insinuate anything like that.

i also really, really, really don't want to ask a law student to it, because i don't want to deal with the drama inherent in, even casually, going out with a law student. it's tough, because there's one who's reeeeeally cute, nice, and i totally have my eye on, but i have no idea if he's single or taken or what. and, he's a law student. i really shouldn't go down that road.
